Who We Are

The KCDC is the fundraising and philanthropic arm of the Burlington-Camden Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Serving as the 501(c)3 foundation, the KCDC seeks to strengthen our communities by assisting at-risk youth and disadvantaged families to become positive and contributing members of society thereby enhancing their dignity and quality of life and enabling them to reach their full potential.

OUR PURPOSE

To develop and initiate programs to assist the youth in our society in three principal areas: leadership development, career awareness, and mentoring. With emphasis on self-motivation, discipline, responsibility, common sense, and self-respect. We hope to help young adults, particularly those considered at risk, to develop a positive self-concept, while achieving in academic and job training skills.

OUR MISSION

With a focus on empowering at-risk youth and families, KCDC has made a meaningful impact through mentoring and community service programs, fostering dignity and potential. Our dedication to creating positive, contributing members of society brings hope and opportunity to the Burlington-Camden region and beyond.

One primary focus is to fund the mentoring and community service initiatives of the Chapter and KCDC.

These programs are held within the Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Cumberland County areas. It is our determination to do the following:

• Raise and financially account for funds to further mentoring and community service initiatives

• Work with the chapter to develop, promote and accomplish mentoring and community service initiatives
