Community
The KCDC programs are specifically targeted to benefit the Burlington-Camden community.
Guide Right Program
The Guide Right mentoring program of Burlington-Camden (NJ) Alumni Chapter empowers youth to establish and launch a progressive career and/or excel in post-secondary education, while cultivating strong leadership skills. As a result of vital relationships with suitable mentors, participants will develop positive social skills, increase self-worth, and make a healthy lifestyle their priority.
Political Awareness/ Social Action
The Political Awareness/Social Action program of Burlington-Camden (NJ) Alumni Chapter sponsors many community volunteer events throughout the calendar year. In addition to the Breast Cancer Walk and Turkey Basket Drive, the committee conducts a Toys for Tots and Winter Coat Drive throughout the month of November.
HBCU College Tour
KCDC proudly offers an HBCU College Tour for high school sophomores to seniors, giving them a unique opportunity to visit Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) along the East Coast. This tour provides students with firsthand exposure to the rich history, culture, and academic excellence of HBCUs, inspiring them to pursue higher education and empowering them to envision a brighter future.
